The Heart & Stroke Classic Lottery is a lottery with 1 to 2 odds of winning and thousands of amazing prizes, including a Grand Prize of $1 million cash. There are five (5) bonus draws that happen at specific times throughout the Classic Lottery campaign, offering eligible tickets chances to win bonus prizes. Tickets purchased before the earlier deadlines are automatically entered into all upcoming bonus draws, and winning tickets are also put back into the pot for all subsequent draws. Therefore, the earlier you buy, the more chances you have to win prizes.

The Heart & Stroke 50/50 Lottery is a lottery comprising one (1) prize. The jackpot amount accumulates as more tickets are sold, and the winner of the 50/50 Lottery will receive 50% (half) of the total accumulated jackpot. There is a minimum guaranteed payout amount of $500,000.

The Heart & Stroke March Money Lottery is a lottery with daily cash prizes given away every day in March 2027. There are more than 100 chances to win every day.

Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age at the time of ordering. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor. Purchasers must also be in the province of Ontario to order tickets.

IP addresses outside of Ontario will be blocked from accessing the order page. If you are physically in Ontario but have difficulties accessing the order page, please contact us by phone at 1-844-512-1044.

The following persons are prohibited from purchasing Heart & Stroke Lottery tickets or obtaining benefit from the prize offering: Heart & Stroke Foundation staff and Board of Directors; partners and employees of Miratel Solution Inc. and its affiliates; employees of registered gaming suppliers for this lottery; and members of the same household of each of the above.

Classic Lottery tickets are $100 each, a 3-pack for $250 and a 5-pack for $375.

50/50 Lottery tickets are a 5-pack for $25, a 15-pack for $50 and a 25-pack for $75.

March Money Lottery tickets are a 4-pack for $20, a 12-pack for $50, a 20-pack for $75 and a 35-pack for $125.

For the Classic Lottery, there are 102,000 tickets available for purchase. An additional 5,100 Classic Lottery tickets will be awarded as prizes as part of the Super Bonus Draw. Therefore, there are a total of 107,100 Classic Lottery tickets.

For the 50/50 Lottery, there is an unlimited number of 50/50 tickets available for purchase.

For the March Money Lottery, there are 465,000 tickets available for purchase.

Yes, you may. Please note the guidelines for purchasing multipacks are as follows:

Only one mailing address (must be in Province of Ontario)

Up to three names may be recorded on the ticket. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor.

There is no requirement to order a Classic Lottery ticket to participate in the 50/50 or March Money Lottery. You may order your 50/50 or March Money Lottery tickets on their own any time prior to the final deadline of 11:59 pm on February 12, 2027, while supplies last.

Tickets are available for purchase from August 24, 2026 to February 12, 2027, or while supplies last.

We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express for tickets purchased online or over the phone. For orders through mail, we accept Cheques, Money Orders, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and VISA Debit Card as valid methods of payment. Please note that only one form of payment is allowed for each order.

If you purchase online, your official ticket will be emailed to you upon successful completion of the order (same day). If you have not received the ticket, please check your Junk or Spam folder.  You have the options to download the ticket from the confirmation email or through your personal order status page. Purchases made by phone or mail without providing an email address will receive physical tickets delivered to the mailing address (please allow a minimum of 14 days for receipt of physical ticket(s)).

Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for by the respective sales deadlines are eligible to be entered for the respective draws.

Up to three names can be included on a lottery ticket. Prizes will be awarded to the Purchaser named on the official ticket. It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser to track distribution of ticket number(s) and allocate any winnings.

Yes, participants do not need their ticket(s) in hand to be included in the respective draw(s).

Yes, lottery tickets make the perfect gift! Please note that the Foundation is only responsible for communicating with the ticket Purchaser. Prizes will be awarded to the Purchaser named on the official ticket.

It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser to track distribution of ticket number(s) and allocate any winnings.

Lottery tickets are non-tax deductible in accordance with Canada Customs and Revenue Agency policies. You may make a donation in addition to your ticket(s) request and receive a tax receipt for the donation portion of your order if your donation exceeds a minimum of $20.

Heart & Stroke Lottery Membership is a newly launched free membership program designed to help you never miss a future lottery. 

Sign up once and we will remember your ticket preferences. You will always receive advance notice before your order is processed, giving you time to review, update, pause, or cancel your new order.  

Signing up is quick and simple. You can become a member by selecting "Yes" when prompted during your online ticket purchase or when purchasing by phone, or by contacting the customer service team at 1-844-512-1044.

Please note that a valid email address and eligible payment method are required to become a member.  

Yes. We'll always send you an email before processing a future lottery order.

Your notification will include details of your upcoming order and instructions on how to update, pause, or cancel it if your plans have changed. Once your order is processed, your lottery tickets will be emailed to you.  

Yes. You can join Heart & Stroke Lottery Membership when purchasing 50/50 or March Money tickets.

Your future order will be based on your most recent ticket selection. Before any future order is processed, you'll receive advance notice and have the opportunity to make changes.

Please note that eligibility for the exclusive $20,000 Members Prize Draw is limited to active members who meet the prize draw eligibility requirements.

You can update your contact information, payment information, or membership preferences at any time.

Yes. Eligible ticket purchasers can enroll in Heart & Stroke Lottery Membership after purchasing their ticket, provided enrollment occurs before the final deadline associated with the applicable lottery. Please call customer service at 1-844-512-1044 for assistance. 

Please note that a valid email address and eligible payment method are required to become a member.

Members are responsible for ensuring they continue to meet all lottery eligibility requirements, including age and residency requirements. If your eligibility status changes, you must notify the Heart & Stroke Lottery team as soon as possible by emailing lottery@heartandstroke.ca or calling 1-844-512-1044.

No. Heart & Stroke Lottery Membership is free to join.

You'll only be charged for lottery orders that you choose to receive and that are processed in accordance with the Membership Terms.

Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time by contacting Customer Service by emailing lottery@heartandstroke.ca or calling 1-844-512-1044.

Canceling your membership will stop future membership orders from being processed but will not affect any lottery purchases that have already been completed.  

No. To be eligible for the Membership Prize, you must be an active Heart & Stroke Lottery member at the time of the draw and meet all other eligibility requirements.

To be eligible for the Membership Prize draw, an individual must:

1.  Be an active Heart & Stroke Lottery Member in good standing at the time of the Membership Prize draw on February 25, 2027. Members whose memberships have been cancelled or paused prior to the draw date will not be eligible.

2. Have purchased a Classic Lottery ticket that remains valid and has not been cancelled, voided, charged back, or refunded as of the draw date.

3. Have completed the membership enrollment associated with the qualifying Classic Lottery ticket purchase.

Classic Lottery: The odds of winning any prize in the Heart & Stroke Lottery are approximately 1 to 2. There are 43,893 prizes available.

50/50 Lottery: The odds of winning the 50/50 Lottery are dependent on the number of 50/50 Lottery tickets sold. There are an unlimited amount of 50/50 Lottery tickets available for purchase.

March Money Lottery: March Money Lottery: The odds of winning the March Money Lottery are dependent on the number of March Money tickets sold. There are 465,000 tickets available for purchase and 3,131 prizes available.

There are 5 Grand Prizes this year. 

GRAND PRIZE #1: Cash prize of $1 million

GRAND PRIZE #2: Choose between a BMW X5 xDrive40i or Genesis GV80 Coupe AWDOR OR $100,000 cash

GRAND PRIZE #3: Choose between an Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron or Lexus RX 350h OR $75,000 cash

GRAND PRIZE #4: Choose between a Jeep Wrangler Willys or MINI Cooper S Convertible OR $50,000 cash

GRAND PRIZE #5: Cash prize of $50,000

Bonus prizes are prizes awarded through bonus draws at specific times throughout the lottery campaign. Only tickets purchased by the certain bonus deadline(s) are eligible to enter the bonus draw(s). There are five (5) bonus deadlines in the Classic Lottery, and tickets purchased before the earlier deadlines are automatically entered into all upcoming bonus draws, therefore the earlier you buy, the more chances you have to win prizes.

Below are the bonus prizes: 

Loyalty Prizes: There is one (1) Loyalty prize to be awarded, consisting of $50,000 cash.

VIP Bonus Prizes: There are two (2) VIP prizes to be awarded, each consisting of $25,000 cash. 

Holiday Bonus Prizes: There are three (3) Holiday Bonus Prizes to be awarded, each consisting of $10,000 cash.

Super Bonus Prizes: There are 5,101 prizes to be awarded, consisting of one (1) cash prize of $50,000 cash and 5,100 prizes of one (1) free $100 Heart & Stroke Classic Lottery ticket.

Early Bird prize: Winner must choose one of the two options available: one (1) Ram 1500 Tungsten Truck (valued at $120,000) or one (1) 2026 Vetta Kuuma 23 CRL (valued at $141,876.25). Both options have a cash out equal to $100,000 cash.

There are 569 electronic and merchandise prizes, and 38,210 prizes of $25 gift cards (winners must choose between the 6 retailers available: Best Buy, Petro Canada, Winners, President’s Choice, Home Hardware, and Esso).

There is one (1) Membership prize to be awarded, consisting of $20,000 cash. The Heart & Stroke Lottery Membership prize is for Heart & Stroke Lottery Members whose memberships are active at the time of the final draw and have purchased a Classic Lottery ticket before Midnight, February 12, 2027. 

The $20,000 Membership Prize is intended to reward Heart & Stroke Lottery Members who maintain an active membership and support the lottery through the purchase of a Classic Lottery ticket.

The jackpot amount accumulates as more tickets are sold. The winner of the 50/50 Lottery will receive 50% (half) of the total accumulated jackpot. There is a minimum guaranteed payout of $500,000 and there is no limit to how big the jackpot can grow.  Last year in Winter 2026 50/50 Lottery, the jackpot sum grew to over $2 million, and the winner took home over $1 million. Daily Cash Prizes: There are a total of 31 cash prizes of $10,000 each to be awarded at a rate of one per day from March 1, 2027, to March 31, 2027.

Daily Gift Cards: There are a total of 3,100 $50 Gift Cards to be awarded at a rate of 100 per day from March 1, 2027, to March 31, 2027. Winners must choose between the retailers available: Best Buy, Petro Canada, Winners, President’s Choice, Home Hardware, and Esso.

All prizes for the Heart & Stroke Lottery are purchased or funded by the Foundation.

The Membership Prize Draw will take place during the final draws for the Winter 2027 Lottery on February 25, 2027.

Eligible members will receive one (1) entry into the Membership Prize draw for each qualifying Classic Lottery ticket purchase that includes a membership enrollment.

Entries will be tracked using the email address associated with the membership account at the time of enrollment.

Where a participant purchases multiple qualifying Classic Lottery tickets that include membership enrollment, the participant will receive a separate entry for each qualifying purchase.

Only entries associated with an active membership and an eligible Classic Lottery ticket at the time of the draw will be included in the Membership Prize draw.

If all tickets for the Classic Lottery are sold before the Early Bird Deadline (Midnight, February 5, 2027), draws for all remaining prizes will be made on February 18, 2027, at approx. 10:00am. The first draw will be for the Early Bird Prize; followed by the Gift Cards, electronic and small prizes, 1 Membership prize and 5 Grand Prizes. 

50/50 and March Money tickets will remain available until the Final Deadline, 11:59 pm on February 12, 2027, or while supplies last. The draws will take place on February 25, 2027. 

Winning tickets will be drawn using Random Number Generator (RNG) software, and winning tickets will be eligible for subsequent draws. All draws are conducted at the Heart & Stroke Toronto Office located at 2300 Yonge St, Suite 1200, Toronto, ON, M4P 1E4.

Yes, after each winning ticket number is drawn and recorded, it is then returned to the pot and is eligible for all subsequent draws.

You may check your tickets after each draw date on https://order.heartandstrokelottery.ca/winners to see if you are a winner. All winners (in each case, the Purchaser named on the drawn ticket) will be notified in writing by email or mail with details on how to claim their prizes. Major prize winners ($5,000 and greater in prize value) may also be contacted by phone.

A complete winners list for the Classic Lottery and 50/50 Lottery will be available at https://order.heartandstrokelottery.ca/winners on February 26, 2027. A complete winners list for the March Money Lottery will be available at https://order.heartandstrokelottery.ca/winners on April 1, 2027.

If you are expecting a winner notification letter by mail and have not received it, or if you are still unable to locate the email notification, please contact Customer Service at 1-844-512-1044 or lottery@heartandstroke.ca. As a reminder, prizes must be claimed within 6 months of the date they are issued.

Prizes will be awarded to the Purchaser named on the official ticket. A copy of a government-issued photo ID may be required to claim the Prize.

By claiming a prize, the winner (i.e., successful purchaser) consents to the use of their likeness (photograph, if available), first and last name, ticket number, city or town of residence, video recording (when available only) and transcription/recording of the winner notification phone call to be used for any publicity purposes by the Foundation.

Physical prizes will be shipped free of charge to the address provided on the prize winners’ ticket. Please allow a minimum of 6 weeks for delivery of prize from the draw date. Delivery time for vehicles may be longer. Vehicle winners are responsible for licensing and insuring the vehicle from the time of ownership. Winners will be required to sign a full & final waiver and release prior to the transfer of the prize and may be required to sign a full & final waiver and release of the prize supplier.

All cash prizes are paid by cheque or electronic funds transfer in Canadian funds. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to allocate the prize if necessary.  Your Choice Gift Card(s) can be redeemed online or by phone following instructions included in your winner notification email or letter. Yes. In accordance with the AGCO regulations, all winners’ information, including ticket numbers, winners’ names, and cities, must be collected in a list and posted on the lottery website.

Yes, you may take the cash out option for prizes that indicate cash-out value. Please refer to the rules and regulations on the website for a full list of cash-out values.

Unfortunately, no. Winners must choose between the 6 retailers available: Best Buy, Petro Canada, Winners, President’s Choice, Home Hardware, Esso, or choose the donate back option to donate your gift card(s) back to Heart & Stroke.

Your Choice Gift Card(s): If you wish to donate your gift card(s) back to Heart & Stroke, please follow the process for gift card redemption and select the donate back option. A tax receipt will be emailed to you for donations of $20 and over, once the donation is processed.

Prize(s) must be claimed no later than six months after the final draw date.

Unclaimed prizes will be reported and a charitable allocation to the Foundation will be approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and are not taxable in Canada.

The net proceeds of our lottery sales support our mission and help fund life-saving research in preeminent teaching hospitals and universities across Ontario. Since its inception, the Lottery has raised over $300 million dollars which has helped fund the work of 450 research teams in hospitals, universities, and research institutions in communities across Ontario. 1) The Heart & Stroke Lottery does not require winners to make any payment to claim their prize. If you receive such a request, please contact our customer service department at 1-844-512-1044.    

2) Keep track of contests, draws and lotteries you enter.

3) Challenge a caller who says you've won a prize to tell you where and when you entered.

4) Remember: there are no prize fees or taxes in Canada.

5) Look for email communications from a domain registered to the organization (@heartandstroke.ca). Communications will not be sent from a general domain such as Yahoo, Gmail, etc.

6) Look for the organization’s letterhead on any communications received by mail.

7) Ensure the mailing address from any mail communications aligns with the mailing address listed on heartandstroke.ca.

8) Look for proper spelling/grammar in written communications.
