Was the email for real?

“Initially, they couldn’t get in touch because we’d changed our phone number. They sent me an email instead, and that’s how I heard of the win. I called my husband Charlie and pointed to the computer screen. He looked at me with wide eyes and said: “Did you win the lottery?”

We were flabbergasted. I sent the email to my son, asking if it was legit. He said: “Looks like it!” Nancy adds: “I still couldn’t believe it until I saw the money in my bank account.”

After gifting some of their winnings to their two adult children, she says: “I would love to take a train trip through the Canadian Rockies…maybe with the luggage I won twenty years ago!”
